Lower Mill Estate provides the ultimate spa break. Indulge your mind, body and soul in the sauna, steam room, indoor swimming pool, outdoor heated pool (from May to October), outdoor eco-pool or make use of the Technogym.

Chill out in the library and reading area, or pamper yourself with a choice of luxury, bespoke treatments (at an extra cost) to suit all. Products used from The Natural Spa Factory, so after a trip here you will leave feeling balanced, recharged and restored.

Ballihoo Restaurant

On-site restaurant and clubhouse serving delicious, locally sourced food for the exclusive use of homeowners and guests. Offering a comprehensive breakfast, lunch, dinner, drink and takeaway menu, we recommend booking in advance to guarantee a table. In addition to this there is an outdoor pizza shack located right next door, open Friday to Sunday from 12:00-21:00

Activity hub

The onsite activity centre at Lower Mill Estate, provides cycle and water equipment for hire offering the perfect adventure ready to explore the beautiful outdoors. We recommend booking equipment in advance of your stay.

Other on-site activities

  • Tennis and MUGA courts, a great spot for some friendly competition. Slots can be booked on the individual sign-up boards located outside the courts.
  • Children’s play area, the ideal place for your little ones to have some fun!
  • Soft play area, you can book 40 minutes’ exclusive use, for up to five children per family/group. Sessions can be booked every hour from 0930 – 1530.
  • Wildlife, explore what the nature reserve has to offer. From bird watching to spotting nocturnal beavers and otters on the lakes, there is something for everyone.

Please note use of lakes is not permitted between October and April to protect overwintering birds.
