We aim to provide a quality experience for the more discerning guest either for a short break (weekends or mid week) or a family holiday in the heart of the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire. Our luxury lodge self-catering holiday homes are a modern alternative to most English country cottages and are only 90 minutes from London. You can de-stress from your normal routine in an idyllic lakeside setting within a choice of two independent, private gated nature reserves, each set in several hundred acres and host to a diverse range of flora and fauna together with private lakes, rivers, streams. Ideal for walking or cycling alone or with friends.

Our current offerings are both 4 bedded contemporary properties. Both sleep a maximum of 8 adults plus 2 children. Velvet Lodge is arranged over 3 floors and is situated in Clearwater Village on Lower Mill Estate, on Somerford Lagoon, a beautiful freshwater lake. Larchwood Lodge is situated in The Lakes by Yoo and is a waterfront timber clad 2 storeys house. Both properties combine the tranquility of the beautiful Cotswold countryside, providing a rural retreat with the very best of contemporary design. They offer full width, full height, floor to ceiling panoramic glazing with amazing views.

The properties are located within minutes’ drive of many traditional Cotswolds villages with a good range of shops and other facilities.

Velvet Lodge is a 4 bedroom house, situated in Clearwater Village on Lower Mill Estate, a private development, and takes advantage of complimentary membership of a renowned Spa with its heated indoor and outdoor pools, gym, sauna, steam room and range of bookable treatments.

This unique estate and spa development lies at the home of the infant River Thames, an area designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest for over-wintering birds. It is set within its own 450 acre nature reserve containing 7 lakes and crossed by 3 rivers and fabulous nature trails. This is a haven for a variety of wild flora and fauna and can provide hours of entertainment whilst exploring the extensive woods and wildflower meadows alone or with friends.

Larchwood Lodge is an exceptionally spacious 4 bedroom detached house set within The Lakes by Yoo, a private luxury development.
